Concepts:

Dwell contemplating X in X,

ardent, clearly comprehending, mindful.
subduing longing and dejection with regard to the world.

Contemplate:

X in X internally, externally or both; or
X’s nature of arising, vanishing or both; or
“There is an X” to extent necessary for bare knowledge and mindfulness.
Dwelling independent, not clinging to anything in the world

Topics of Contemplation (X):

  1. Body

 

Breathing, in meditation context.

Postures: walking, standing, sitting, lying down.

 

Everyday actions: stretching limbs, eating, urinating, etc.

 

Body parts: hair, teeth, nails, … spleen, fat …

 

Four elements: earth, water, fire, air.

 

Charnel ground: corpse in different stages of decay.

  1. Feeling

Pleasant, painful, neither.
Carnal, spiritual.

    1. MindWith/without lust, hatred, delusion as such
      (Un-)exalted,(un-)surpassable, (un-)concentrated as such
    2. Phenomena
      1. Five hindrances: desire, ill-will, sloth&torpor, restlessness&remorse, doubt
      2. Five aggregates: form, feeling, perception, formations, consciousness
      3. Six sense bases: eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind and their objects
      4. Seven enlightenment factors: mindfulness, discrimination, energy, rapture, tranquility, concentration, equanimity
      5. Four noble truths: suffering, origin, cessation, path.
