Ceremony at Burmese Monastery

I would like to invite members of the class to take a field trip to the Burmese monastery in Oak Hill (SW Austin) to view the site and join us for lunch and for a Dharma talk (if you happen to speak Burmese). Please show up around 10 if you would like a guided tour. Monks will eat around 11 (we must eat before noon) and everyone else around 12. The food will be great and there will be people to mingle with. Bring families. The event honors the 76th birthday of our founder, Sitagu Sayadaw, and parallels a much larger event in Central Burma.

Where: Sitagu Buddha Vihara, 9001 Honeycomb Dr., Austin, TX 78737

Web Site: sitagu.org/austin/

When: 10 am Saturday, March 23.
